Hey K-5 kids! Here is your GizmoNote for the lesson this week.

We learned in the videos that Jesus completed the mission that God sent Him to Earth to do.

SuperTruth: Jesus loves me so much that He sacrificed His life and forgave my sins.
SuperVerse: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 (NKJV)

Discussion Questions:
1. What did Chris think was most important—what he wanted to do or what his mother wanted him to do?
2. What does sacrifice mean?
3. What exactly is sin?
4. How many sins will God forgive?
5. God loves us so much He sent His only Son to Earth to die for us! What should we do in response?
6. When we believe in Jesus, what happens?

Discussion questions:
1. After Peter denied knowing Jesus and he remembered Jesus’ words about the rooster, what did Peter do?
2. Have you ever lost something that was very valuable to you? If you got it back again, how did you feel when you found it?
3. After Jesus restored Peter, the first task Jesus gave him was to feed and care for His lambs and sheep. Who are Jesus’ lambs and sheep?
4. We are His lambs and sheep! What’s the difference between a lamb and a sheep?
5. Why do you think Peter and the other disciples were afraid to say they knew Jesus?
6. Why do you think some people today may be afraid to say they are followers of Jesus?
7. Jesus cares about everyone, no matter what they have done—and He goes out to search for those who are lost. How does that make you feel?

Hi AC Preschoolers!  I hope you are all happy and healthy!  We started our lessons at home talking about fear.  Now we are going to learn about being brave in those times of fear.  Attached is your preschool lesson about Bravery.

Peter Denies Jesus

Jesus knows my weaknesses.

SuperVerse:  Jesus understands every weakness of ours, because He was tempted in every way that we are. But He did not sin!  Hebrews 4:15 (cev)

Discussion Questions:
1. In our video today, why did Chris say he didn’t know Joy?
2. Sometimes we struggle with difficult decisions and make bad choices that we regret. Why did Peter say he didn’t know Jesus?
3. Jesus had been arrested and was being questioned by powerful men who hated Him and wanted to kill Him. Do you think Peter was afraid that if these men found out he was Jesus’ friend, they might kill him, too?
4. Why do you think he instantly gave up everything to follow the Lord?
5. Who do you think got out of the boat and began walking on the water toward Jesus?
6. Peter was one of Jesus’ closest friends. When Jesus went up a mountain to meet with God, He chose just three disciples to go with him. Guess which ones.
7. On the night before Jesus died, when He warned Peter that he would deny Him three times, what did Peter say?
8. Peter turned his back on Jesus because of fear. When Peter realized what he had done, how did he feel?
9. Peter denied Jesus and turned his back on Him, but was that the end of Peter’s story?
