This week is our second week of the series Game On. We are focusing on helping others. Turn your listening ears on and check out the short story in the video.

Discussion Questions:
1.
Were some of the women feeling SILLY or feeling HUNGRY? (Hungry)
2. Did Jesus’ friends need PUZZLES or HELPERS? (Helpers)
3. Can you be a helper, just like the seven helpers in our story? (Yes) That’s right! We can be just like the helpers in our story and HELP others! We can help others so they don’t give up when times are hard!

Prayer Starter:  Dear God, thank you for helping me! Please help me see ways I can help others. Thank you for providing me food so I am not hungry. In Jesus name, Amen!

God gave Philip the power to share the Good News, and He gives us that same power today, so we can tell others about Jesus.

Here is the GizmoNote for the K-5 lesson on Peter’s Escape. God answers prayer. The church prayed for Peter in prison and God delivered Peter from his cell. In the Superbook adventure, Joy wanted Rhoda to do something to help Peter. She found out that prayer is effective and powerful!

Good morning Nursery and Preschool Kids!This week will be week 3 of Everybody’s Welcome.  Many parents may not know this, but in the Early Childhood classes we try and have the same lesson, with minor changes in questions, for about 4 weeks.  We do this because the kids seem to retain the information if we keep it consistent for about a month.  I wasn’t doing this for a while, but since we are all trying to get back to some normalcy I am starting the routine again. So, here is this weeks lesson and I will post a new activity sheet for the video.  Thank you all for keeping your little ones engaged in the Word while you are at home.

Peter Denies Jesus

SuperTruth:
Jesus knows my weaknesses.

SuperVerse:  Jesus understands every weakness of ours, because He was tempted in every way that we are. But He did not sin!  Hebrews 4:15 (cev)

Discussion Questions:
1. In our video today, why did Chris say he didn’t know Joy?
2. Sometimes we struggle with difficult decisions and make bad choices that we regret. Why did Peter say he didn’t know Jesus?
3. Jesus had been arrested and was being questioned by powerful men who hated Him and wanted to kill Him. Do you think Peter was afraid that if these men found out he was Jesus’ friend, they might kill him, too?
4. Why do you think he instantly gave up everything to follow the Lord?
5. Who do you think got out of the boat and began walking on the water toward Jesus?
6. Peter was one of Jesus’ closest friends. When Jesus went up a mountain to meet with God, He chose just three disciples to go with him. Guess which ones.
7. On the night before Jesus died, when He warned Peter that he would deny Him three times, what did Peter say?
8. Peter turned his back on Jesus because of fear. When Peter realized what he had done, how did he feel?
